REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM

Overview

The reproductive system (known also as the genital system) is a system composed of anatomical organs responsible for the reproduction. This system includes tissues, organs and glands responsible for giving offspring. Other substances such as hormones, and pheromones are also essential to be involved in the reproductive mechanism. Genders in this system, unlike other systems in the body, have significant differences in the structures and functions of reproductive organs. For instance, males have different reproductive organs than females, and both organs have specific functions to create and support the development of a new fetus.
